Canning,new garden planted, kitchen

I just took a picture of the flowers we will be planting on Memorial Day. It has become the tradition to plant these flowers on both sides of the drive way. This year we decided to try all one color. (hot pink) There are many other other flowers shown that will be put into baskets and planters.
Our trees are now in the 3rd year of growth. I just love the flowers and colors it adds.
This is the Red Raspberries bushes we planted this year we have 30 bushes. There is 6 different varieties. I heard once you get these going there as bad as weeds. but oh how good they will be.
We added beams in the kitchen ceilings for accent

This is our Strawberry Garden... We planted 3 varieties of Strawberries, 25 plants each....we have an early, middle and late season. we will be eating strawberries all summer long. strawberry pie, strawberry jam. and frozen for the winter months. yum, yum.

This is my first attempt of canning asparagus. I think it turned out. we will see when we try some. We especially like to make Asparagus Soup.
This is our Asparagus Patch or row, I should say, right now your are looking at the 75 feet we planted 3 years ago. It is really starting to produce.
we have picked 3 times so far this year. the last two time have been about 4 lbs each picking. my last picking is what I canned. I realize it takes a lot of Asparagus to put into one quart jar. We also planted this year in the same row 25 more feet of Asparagus.

I'm jealous of all your growing space and you ablilities to can all of your produce. I have about 4 inches of garden space and wonder if what I'm doing will be worth all the work in the end. It's a beautiful sight....
